In today’s threat landscape, security teams are facing an influx of exploitable vulnerabilities that are leading to damaging attacks on their organizations.
That’s why we’re excited to announce the upcoming release of VMware Carbon Black Cloud Vulnerability Management for endpoints to help defenders identify and mitigate the riskiest vulnerabilities in their environments. This offering extends the risk-prioritized vulnerability assessment capabilities available today in Carbon Black Cloud Workload to Windows and Linux endpoints.
What is new?
With this new offering, security teams gain visibility into their endpoint vulnerabilities prioritized by risk leveraging Kenna Security’s patented risk scoring methodology. By partnering with Kenna Security to deliver Vulnerability Management in the Carbon Black Cloud, we’re providing customers with a smaller number of critical vulnerabilities to address, allowing security teams to focus on patching or mitigating the vulnerabilities that could truly lead to a breach. By combining machine learning, threat and exploit intelligence, and traditional vulnerability scoring metrics, the risk score users will see in the Carbon Black Cloud will enable them to prioritize and address vulnerabilities in a simpler, faster manner.
By building vulnerability management directly into the Carbon Black Cloud, customers can offload the resources required to manage manual scanners to the cloud and reduce the number of agents running on their endpoints. Additionally, customers will gain access to the latest vulnerability data every 24 hours or on-demand at any time they choose.
